The STM-1012 CNC Lathe Machine offers unmatched precision and versatility for machining parts over 1000mm. Featuring a slant bed, MT5 servo tailstock, and optional accessories, it provides powerful, accurate CNC cutting and milling solutions.
In the world of manufacturing and machining, CNC precision automatic lathes play a crucial role. These advanced machines are designed to produce high-precision components with minimal human intervention, making them essential for industries ranging from automotive to aerospace.
Why Equip Turning Center With Y-axis? In a CNC turn mill, you generally have X & Z axes of the conventional lathe machine. The spindle doubles as C axis during turn milling operations. Milling is accomplished by rotating live tools that are mounted on the turret. In a turn mill center without a Y axis, you maybe only drill radial holes on the cylindrical surface of a shaft. If you want to perform any non radial operation on the cylindrical surface of the job (like hole drilling, slotting etc) you need to have a Y axis.
What is the difference between CNC lathe and milling machine? SmartekMech CNC lathes and CNC milling machines both are process materials such as metals and plastics into required parts.
