The machine tool consists of two identical floor-standing boring and milling machining centers arranged opposite to each other. A fixed platform is arranged between the two machine tools for clamping workpieces. Each main machine is composed of a bed, a slide, a column and a spindle box, a sliding pillow, a universal milling head and other components. Each machine tool has three feed axes, namely the X1 and X2 axes for the column to move longitudinally along the bed rail; the Y1 and Y2 axes for the spindle box to move up and down along the column guide rail; and the Z1 and Z2 axes for the sliding pillow to move axially along the spindle box. The universal milling head installed on the end face of the sliding pillow has an automatic indexing function on its A/C axis, which can easily adjust the angle to meet processing needs.
Each machine tool is equipped with an independent control cabinet and is controlled by an independent CNC system. The system uses Siemens ONE. The two systems can communicate with each other and are equipped with necessary safety protection.
The floor-standing boring and milling machining center adopts a number of mature technologies such as constant-current hydrostatic guide rails, master-slave control dual motor-gear rack transmission, etc. It has milling, boring, drilling and thread processing functions, and can complete the processing of five surfaces in one clamping. It is a high-performance, high-precision machine tool.
