Description of the Machine
The model YD31125 gear hobbing machine is of 6 axes one with 4 axes coordinated control (milling&hobbing function). Based on the principle of forming method and generating method, the machine is designed to cut cylindrical spur & helical gears, worm gears, crowning or slightly tapered gears, splines by electronic gear box (EGB), etc. It is suited for these industries, such as heavy truck, lifting machinery, mine, marine, elevator, metallurgy, power generator, engineering machinery, etc.
Disc milling cutter could be installed on YD31125 hob head to realize external gear milling.
Construction of the Machine
With vertical design, its worktable is fixed and the column is moveable along the guideway of the machine bed. The machine is equipped with fully-enclosed safeguards and its safeguard door is of push-pull type. Symmetric construction of the machine bed and circulating cooling system ensure stable thermal balance and consistent of working accuracy and high machining process capacity.
1 With symmetric bed construction, hot chips are quickly evacuated by a chip conveyor. Circulating coolant ensures good thermal stability.
2 Guideways of X and Z axes are of ample rectangle steel ones, which can satisfy the requirements of high rigidity for the machine at the high speed and large feed rate.
3 Shortest driving train of hob spindle, rolling bearings, hydrostatic bearings supporting construction and one-tooth-difference clearance eliminating mechanism are used to satisfy the requirements of hob spindle system at the high speed and anti-vibration.
4 Super precision double worm gearings and hydrostatic bearings are used for the worktable to carry out clearance-free movement and ensure cutting accuracy.
5 Auto-clamping device is used to lock hob arbor.
